Bio for Rudolph Moreno Peña
Rudolph Moreno Peña (Rudy) is a native of Phoenix, Arizona. A proud patriotic blue collar American of Hispanic ancestry, he has devoted more than forty years in the construction industry both as employee and employer. He has a longstanding interest in politics at all levels. Both a lifelong Catholic and card carrying Democrat, Rudy without apology (along with his wife of forty years) is a staunch Reagan Conservative. His last embarrassment of voting for a Democrat president was Jimmy Carter. On voting for Ronald Reagan, from that day forward, Conservatism became his ideal.
He and his wife of forty years were both raised in the Phoenix suburb known as Maryvale where they raised their own two children. A once very typical Americana community much of which over the years since 1986, eventually succumbed to the challenges and burdens that came with illegal immigration. They witnessed and experienced the incredible changes that transformed the place they call home, into a semblance of any small Mexican city. In recent years, that community became notorious as one of the most dangerous communities to raise a family in the United States. It was in 2003 and 2004 during the time of mass exodus of immigrants from Mexico across our southern border and into the Maryvale area when Rudy took a much more involved approach in his community and neighborhood. In 2004 he attended his first city council district meeting and began raising questions over unsafe neighborhoods, rampant graffiti, spikes in crime stats, illicit drug activity and gang terror. All of which were virtually nonexistent some forty years prior. It was these quality of life issues that prompted Rudy to take part in meetings, leadership training, and direct, personal and regular contact with police officers of the Maryvale Precinct of the Phoenix Police Department. It was that involvement that led him to greater interest in Conservative candidate campaigns and extensive research in seeking a truly like minded Conservative Latino/Hispanic organization with which to associate. In that search Rudy happened upon the Arizona Latino Republican Association (ALRA), of which he has been an active member since December of 2010. His current personal political ambition and mission in life is to weed out Hispanic organizations which tout themselves to be conservative and Republican but refuse to embrace the Reagan principles of Conservatism.
Rudolph Moreno Peña is also an exceptional writer of inspiration and common sense opinion and a talented but struggling artist who strives to make both his career.
